This being human is a guest house
Every morning a new arrival
A joy,a depression,a meanness,
Some momentary awareness
Comes as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
...The dark thought,the shame,the malice,
Meet them at the door laughing,
And invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
Because each has been sent as a guide from beyond.

That is such a beautiful and deep piece.

I love how one always find a new angel on Rumi's work when reading it again.

Beautiful.

Rumi iz my home BOI . Word !!

i love the part where he says meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in.

just a reminder, that even when we having kak days, we shouldnt use that to make us stop meeting new people, and stop being bitchy etc ( dont look at me for being an example though :)
